Prepare for the conversation

Identify the industry, jurisdiction, people responsible, relevant systems and the material to review. Use approved, redacted examples and identify the primary regulatory sources.

Confirm the scope

Agree the exact obligations and workflows covered, evidence required, responsible reviewer and any need for independent legal or professional advice. Clinical governance and public advertising are related but separate questions.

Review and accept

Check that findings quote the material at issue, cite the applicable source and state what remains uncertain. Keep the decision, reviewer and reviewed version with the resulting policy or change.

Health and professional responsibilities

Keep personal or clinical records in the approved system. Regulatory assistance needs a responsible person to review the actual facts and current sources.
