Set your voice and tone

Open Settings → Brand kit and use the tone, language, reading-level and claims fields. Describe the desired voice with practical examples: direct or conversational, brief or explanatory, and the terminology your audience actually uses.

A useful example contains an approved sentence and why it works. “Plain Australian English; explain the next step; avoid dramatic promises” gives more direction than “professional and engaging”.

Review the result in context

Read the draft as the intended customer. Check that the tone fits the channel and does not obscure the action, price or conditions. Names, professional titles and product facts must remain accurate through a rewrite.

Banned words can help catch recurring style problems. They are not a complete legal or clinical rulebook. A softer phrase may still make the same unsupported claim.

Save the updated kit and review important templates separately. For health businesses, refer the actual claim and its context to the responsible reviewer rather than treating a friendly tone as evidence of compliance.
